About Hammock Hardware Inc

Doc and Bonnie Hammock founded Hammock Hardware in 1957.

The original store was located just to the west of its present location next to Walt’s Chevron, which was on the corner of Oakhurst Road and Walsingham Road. In 1972, the store moved to its present location where it has operated continuously since 1972. In April of 2008, Mrs. Hammock sold the store to Rodney and Brent Finke. Brent manages the day-to-day operations of the store.

Not much has changed – not even the name. We still strive to keep to the values and principles that Doc and Bonnie founded and operated the store with for more than 50 years. Our customers are the most important part of our business and customer service is our top priority. Without our customers, we would not have a business.

We carry tools, plumbing supplies, pipe and fittings (PVC, CPVC, copper and galvanized), electrical supplies (a new expanded electrical department), various sized fasteners (a new expanded fasteners department), paint and sundries, lawn and garden products, grills, grilling accessories, boat accessories, trailer accessories, and a full line of pool chemicals supplies and equipment. Even if you don’t need anything right now, you are welcome to stop in and say hello, and just wander around and take a look!
